Why did I name this pinky-red rose Beloved? I just felt that this was such a beautiful rose with a combination of color, color variation, and those gorgeous petal edges on the left side that I felt it was a rose one would give to your beloved. I captured this rose on my lightbox using a very shallow depth of field so that portions of the rose are sharply focused while others have a bit of blur. While it was beautiful on its white background, I felt that adding a soft watercolor enhanced the rose's beauty. I think this beauty would enhance any home or office environment with its cheerfulness. I hope you will agree!
